Play sessions
What to expect
-
Rather than telling children exactly how to play, many of our activities are open ended.
A play kitchen can become a café, a den can become a castle and a simple collection of objects can inspire an entirely new game. This kind of play encourages creativity, problem solving, confidence and independence.

-
Children will be able to climb, crawl, balance and explore the main play structure.
Some areas require closer adult support than others, particularly for younger children or children who are still developing their balance and physical confidence.
-
From time to time, Dartlings may offer water, mud kitchen, craft or sensory activities.
We recommend dressing children in comfortable clothes that can cope with enthusiastic play. While we do our best to keep everything manageable, childhood rarely respects a pristine outfit.
-
Dartlings is designed with grown ups in mind too.
You will be able to order quality coffee, drinks and food during your visit. Parents and carers are welcome to relax, but must remain attentive and close enough to supervise their children throughout the session.
-
Please arrive close to your booked session time and check in with a member of the Dartlings team.
Shoes may need to be removed in certain play areas, so socks should be worn. Any additional guidance will be displayed clearly or explained when you arrive.
